Faux-rific backsplash
2011
Loughnan, LongCreek Plantation, Blythewood. Before backsplash and bar areas were covered with metalic silver wallpaper and the corbels were not making a statement. After walls were updated to a brilliant red and faux plaster backsplashes were added in a random stack pattern and accented with tones of red, tan, turquoise, bronze, stainless steel and antique black with a protective finish. The bar area followed a similar pattern without the grout lines. The original corbels were replaced with larger wooden ones that were antiqued to take on a more ornate feel. This was a fabulously fun room to make over.
